For me, going outside gives me the space and quietness that I need to go ‘inside’.
And by ‘inside’…I mean inside my head. Inside my soul. Allowing this time to pause and go inward is not only essential to my well-being, but it allows me to come to the table in everyday life as the best version of myself. It allows me to digest the day, recover from being ‘on’, and recharge so that I can do ‘life’ all over again the next day.
Just as our muscles need recovery days from working out, our mind and mental space need the same TLC in order to download, reset, and recharge.
Give yourself permission to pause this week and do something you love – or do nothing at all! That’s the beauty of it. You’re in charge. xx
